About Us
Headquartered in Trinidad & Tobago, our company transacts business with multiple businesses in the financial services sector, government, energy, professional services, publishing, and manufacturing and distribution sectors across 15 countries. The core offer includes commodity manufacturing of office and school-based paper products, bespoke printing (commercial, digital, offset, transactional, security, wide format, promotional and industrial laser cutting and etching), distribution of office and school supplies, and the selling, leasing and servicing multifunctional printers and copiers, and the retailing of products and services to consumers. The company is over 60 years old and employs over 400 persons. In the past the group’s legacy company “Trinpad Ltd” was nominated for the Prime Minister’s Export Award. The group operates from multiple locations, anchored by its head office in El Socorro. These locations have a combined covered footprint of over 125,000 sq. ft. and almost 6 acres of land.
About Us
Rishi Baddaloo
Group Managing Director
Rishi has been the Group Managing Director of The Office Authority Ltd since 2014. He joined the group in 2011 and has filled various executive roles prior to becoming the Group Managing Director. He has experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, the print industry, the promotional products sector and business equipment. Prior to joining the group, he worked in Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young and gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity. Rishi is a former Chairman of First Citizens Asset Management Ltd and a former director of First Citizens Bank Ltd. He holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University (2006) in the USA, graduating Beta Gamma Sigma, and a Bachelor of Sciences from The University of the West Indies (2002), graduating with First Class Honours. He graduated as the most outstanding student in his class and was awarded most outstanding Social Sciences student in each year of the undergraduate degree program. Rishi has been awarded multiple scholarships, including a Fulbright Scholarship, a National Scholarship and a Richard S. Weinberg Memorial Scholarship.
Hance Persad
Director
Hance has been the Managing Director of Trinpad for more than 25 years. Trinpad, founded by his father in 1963 is Trinidad & Tobago’s first manufacturer of school paper products such as exercise books and notebooks. He has presided over the growth and diversification of the enterprise and today Trinpad is one of the largest printing and paper conversion establishments in the country, having expanded into cheque production, promotional products and office furniture. Hance is a graduate of the University of Manchester Business School with an MBA in Finance.
Mukesh Mahangoo
Group Financial Controller
Mukesh joined OA in 2014 having worked in the tissue paper industry for the past 22 years. He was the Financial Controller of Trinidad Tissues Group of Companies when it was acquired by Grand Bay in 2009. He was subsequently appointed Chief Financial Officer of their Trinidad operations. He is a qualified accountant holding the designation of FCCA.
Mohan Ramnath
General Manager Group Operations & Logistics
Mohan has been the General Manager of Group Operations & Logistics since 2014. He joined the group in 2007 and has filled various roles prior to becoming the General Manager of Group Operations & Logistics. He also has experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, the print industry both offset /digital, promotional products sector and business equipment. Mohan holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management, a Certificate in Supervisory Management and graduated with Director’s Honors in Occupational Health and Safety, all of which were done at Cipriani College of Labour & Co-Operative Studies. Altogether, he has over twenty years of experience in the industry.
